Analysing Research on Cultural Identity Education Globally

This chapter analyses research findings concerning globalisation, cultural diversity and schooling. It critiques dominant discourses and debates related to globalisation, and cultural identity. Using several diverse paradigms, ranging from critical theory to globalisation, the chapter, by focusing on globalisation, ideology and cultural identity, evaluates critically recent research dealing with the politics of cultural identity.
