General Introduction
摘要
In this chapter, an overview of the preliminary backgrounds related to the smart grid is provided. Then, the challenges and opportunities of plug-in EVs for the power system are outlined. Several control methods used in smart grid systems, including linear control strategies such as proportional-integral-derivative control (PID), as well as nonlinear control strategies such as sliding mode control (SMC), robust control, adaptive control, disturbance observer-based control and intelligent control are introduced. Finally, the outline of the book is listed.
