Summary and Perspectives
摘要
From the very beginning, Artificial Intelligence dealt with the recognition of system states. Nowadays, the term of Intelligent Computing is used more and more often, and also a separate information granule is being called an object. It is assumed that such objects are described by a set of features, and a specific object is described by a set of values of appropriate features. In general, there are two main issues of operations on such objects, one concerns the classification of objects, the other concerns the grouping of objects. In both of these issues, directly or indirectly, the basic task of comparison of objects is involved. Therefore, assessment of proximity of the compared objects and a proper measure of it, is still a crucial problem, and additionally, comparison of such objects often appears to produce results that are not symmetrical.
