Matching Between Ordinary Sets

In this chapter we propose a novel measure of proximity between two ordinary sets and our consideration is based on set-theoretic operations. Instead of considering distance between two ordinary sets, we introduce a definition of a measure of perturbation of one set on another set. The measure developed describes the changes of the first set after adding the second set or changes of the second set after adding the first set. The measure of set perturbation is normalized and returns a value from the interval [0,1], where 1 is interpreted as the highest level of impact (perturbation), while 0 denotes the lowest level of impact.
