Secure and Lightweight Communication Protocol for Wake-Up Radio-Enabled Internet of Things
摘要
Wake-up Radios (WuRs) have gained significant popularity in the Internet of Things (IoT) domain due to their advantages, including enhanced energy efficiency, reduced latency, and flexible communication. However, security vulnerabilities during the wake-up call (WuC) exchange phase in WuR communication pose challenges. This chapter presents a lightweight secure communication protocol designed to mitigate denial-of-service attacks in WuR-enabled IoT networks. Furthermore, we have demonstrated that the protocol has superior energy efficiency compared to existing approaches.
