Viral Spreading Phenomenon

Our life has been dramatically changed by the COVID-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus pandemic, in the 2020s. The viral spreading phenomenon has been studied in medical science and network science, to which considerable research attention has been devoted recently. In this chapter, we introduce mathematical models of the viral spreading phenomenon over a human network where the spreading rate highly depends on the structure of the human network. We then show Python multi-agent simulation of viral spreading over a complex network.
