Albert Einstein and Other Italian Correspondents
摘要
Together with this letter I send you my latest, concise work on the theory of general relativity and on the theory of gravitation in which this difficult problem has been brought to a certain conclusion. I am convinced that in principle the road taken is the right one and that in the future they will be surprised that the concept of general relativity has found such resistance. Whether motion—uniform or not—can be defined and conceived only as relative motion, this character of relativity being its own not only from the kinematic point of view but also from that of general physics.
