Chipless Cutting of Wood—Felling Knives

The laboratory part of the measurement are presented in this chapter. The experiment was divided into three groups, where the influence of wood, wood diameter and felling knives was gradually monitored, first with different thickness of the knife, then with a different cutting edge, and finally with a different surface of the knife. In the laboratory part, there is a detailed description of the device on which the experimental measurement was carried out with a device for holding various felling knives.
