Carbon Emissions Inventory Analysis of Secondary Aluminium Process in China by Using Life Cycle Assessment
摘要
Secondary aluminium is of great significance in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the upstream and downstream industrial chain of the aluminium industry and achieving carbon neutrality in China. This study investigates the influencing factors affecting greenhouse gas emissions in te secondary aluminium industry through the whole life cycle greenhouse gas accounting method. The results showed that the main carbon emission process of secondary aluminium companies is A1(raw materials), while the main carbon emission process of aluminium ash disposal companies from cradle to gate is A3 (production process). Besides, the carbon emissions of the secondary aluminium and aluminium ash are 143.83–6128.65 kgCO2/t and 68.29–3115.31 kgCO2/t, respectively. The results can not only provide technical support for the development of standards to address climate change, but also provide data support for recycled aluminium materials for the downstream industry's carbon emission, which is of great significance to achieve cross-sectoral synergistic low-carbon development and to implement the goals of industry-wide carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
