摘要

Cooking oil fumes (COF) contain particulate matters and a lot of volatile organic compounds, which are harmful to the environment and human. In order to assure the accuracy and reliability of COF detector of light scattering, the calibration device of COF detector was designed and its feasibility was evaluated. The results showed that the uniformity of the calibration device was no more than 8%, and the repeatability of the calibration device was no more than 5%, which meet the requirements of the exposure draft of the calibration specification for cooking fume detector stipulated that the repeatability was no more than 8%. In addition, the calibrated results showed that there was a linear relation of y = 1.6033x − 0.0253, and the relative errors of the calibrated detector reduced from 17.24–47.96% to 0.79–32.69%, and could meet the requirement that the value error didn’t exceed ±20%. Moreover, the uncertainty of the COF detector was no more than 10.6%, which indicated that the calibration device could be used to calibrate the COF detector.
