Study on the Performance of the Calibration Device of Catering Fume Particulate Matter Detector

摘要

Catering fume refers to a gas–liquid-solid three-phase mixture, which exhibited health effects and air-quality problems. At present, a majority of the catering fume detector was used to measure the concentration of particulate matter. In order to assure the accuracy and reliability of the measure result, the detector need to be calibrated periodically. In this study, the calibration device was designed and its performance was evaluated. The results showed that the uniformity of the calibration device was no more than 8%, and the repeatability of the calibration device was no more than 5%, which indicated that the calibration device had good uniformity and repeatability. Moreover, the calibrated results showed that there was a linear relation of y = 1.251x + 0.0807, and the relative errors after calibrating were 0.20–15.29%, which could meet the requirement that the value error does not exceed ±20%, indicated that the calibration device could be used to calibrate the catering fume particulate matter detector.
