Heat and Cooling Quantity in Bottom Waters from Inner to Outer of Bay Mouth

摘要

These studies showed water temperature changing process in bottom layer in marine bay and Heat and cooling’s effect on its process in bottom waters of bay mouth, which clearly unveil its change mechanism. Based on the dataset of Jiaozhou Bay water body in April, August, November 1981, by computing statistical methods, this paper determines water temperature and its horizontal distribution in bottom layer. Results present that as water temperature in bottom layer, from April to August, the lowest one in bottom was greater than 12.00 ℃ in inner and outer side area of bay mouth, bay mouth area, and the highest one in bottom was lower than 26.00 ℃. The whole water temperature in bottom water body was relatively high, but not very high. Therefore, From April to August, it in bottom presented relatively high but moderate value in inner side waters of, in waters of, and in outer side waters of, bay mouth. In water area covering from inner side waters to bay mouth ones, and to outer side, it emerged a high-temperature area with inner side waters as center in August, where it was 25.70 ℃. It in bottom layer decreased along gradient from inner side to bay mouth and then to outer side. Thus, it started to rise from bottom waters inside, extended to bottom waters in bay mouth, then transmitted to bottom waters outside. Similarly, it formed a low-temperature area with inner side waters as center in November, where it was 12.13 ℃. It in bottom layer increased along gradient from inner side waters, directing to south to bay mouth waters, then to outer side waters. Thereby, in November, it began to decrease from bottom waters inside of bay mouth to bottom waters in bay mouth, finally to bottom waters outside of bay mouth. Therefore, it in water body was high in August. In bottom waters, it began to rise from inner side waters of bay mouth. With heat transfer in water body, its rise extended to bottom waters of bay mouth, then to bottom waters in outer side. However, in November, it in bottom waters was low. It began to decrease from bottom waters in inner side. With cooling transfer in water body, its decrease extended to bottom, then to bottom outer side in final.
