The Effect of Pile Shape on Emission Inventory Levels in Dry Bulk Port
摘要
With the persistent increase of dry bulk cargo throughput in China's ports, the dust pollution problem caused by their stacking and operation is becoming an important contradiction in the relationship between ports and cities. Based on Fluent simulation software, this paper simulates and studies the emission inventory under different shapes and incident wind directions under the condition that the bottom area and volume of the pile remain unchanged. The results show that the amount of dust generated is a power function and exponential function of height and repose angle respectively, the higher the height the greater the amount of dust generated; Velocity has a large impact on dust generation, with the amount of dust generated increasing exponentially with velocity, n taking values from 3 to 5 depending on the height of the pile; The effect of wind direction on dust generation is more complex, as the angle of the incident wind direction increases the amount of dust generation increases and then decreases, with the amount of dust generated being the highest when the wind direction is 45° to the long side of piles. The simulation results verify the relationship between emission inventory and pile shape and wind direction, providing technical support for the selection of pile shape and yard layout in the dry bulk port area along the river, and offering reference for the source management of dust in the dry bulk port area.
