Evaluation of Water Pollutant Emissions in Fujian Province Based on Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis

Unreasonable water pollution discharge will directly affect the living and health of residents. In 2021, the industrial wastewater discharge in Fujian Province reached 2.02 billion tons, which is 130.15% of the previous year, and the situation is becoming increasingly severe. In order to better understand the discharge of water pollutants in Fujian Province, the article collects relevant data from various provinces and cities in China to preliminarily understand the ranking of water resources and water quality in Fujian Province in the country. Based on factor analysis and cluster analysis results, the article systematically understands the current performance of water pollutant discharge in Fujian Province in the whole country, and draws on the experience of other provinces and cities to provide corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
