Preparation of Magnetic Photocatalyst Fe3O4/TiO2 and Its Application in Rhodamine B Degradation
摘要
In this study, we investigated the preparation of a magnetic photocatalyst Fe3O4/TiO2 and its potential application in Rhodamine B were studied. A Fe3O4/TiO2 composite photocatalyst was prepared via hydrothermal method and characterized by ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The photocatalytic performance of Fe3O4/TiO2 in degrading rhodamine B (RhB) under visible light irradiation was also evaluated. The degradation efficiency of RhB degradation was significantly improved due to the synergistic effect between Fe3O4 and TiO2. The optimal catalyst dosage was determined to be 0.8 g/L, with an optimal PMS addition of 0.045 g. Furthermore, the magnetic properties of Fe3O4 facilitate the separation and recovery of the catalyst from the reaction system. The application of Fe3O4/TiO2 has great prospects in the degradation of organic pollutants.
