Study on p-Nitrophenol Degradation by Potassium Ferrate
摘要
The effect of ferrate on removal of p-nitrophenol and the influencing factors were studied. The results showed that the removal rate of p-nitrophenol was proportional to the molar ratio of potassium ferrate to p-nitrophenol, up to about 50%. When the molar ratio was greater than 7:1, the improvement of removal rate was not obvious. When pH was between 5 and 7, the removal of p-nitrophenol was the best. Stirring could accelerate the oxidation reaction, but would not increase the final removal rate.
