Design Theory and Practice of Upgrading and Reconstruction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant
摘要
With the rapid pace of urbanization, there has been a steady increase in the volume of sewage and wastewater generated. The existing wastewater treatment system is also plagued by issues such as the need to enhance effluent quality and inadequate treatment efficiency. The East Wastewater Treatment Plant in a city in central China is confronted with the imperative of upgrading and expanding its facilities. This paper extensively examines the current state of the wastewater treatment plant, highlighting the key challenges and underscoring the essentiality of undertaking this project. Furthermore, it scientifically and systematically designs and presents a transformation plan, aiming to serve as a valuable reference for similar upgrading and expansion endeavors in wastewater treatment plants.
