Pilot Experimental Study on High Salinity Pickled Vegetable Wastewater

摘要

This study conducted pilot-scale treatment research on actual pickled vegetable wastewater using salt-tolerant bacteria. The study focused on the influent salinity as the main variable, investigating the operational conditions of the treatment system and pollutant removal efficiency. The pH, dissolved oxygen, and temperature of the pilot-scale experimental apparatus varied with changes in influent salinity. Under salinity levels of 4, 8, and 11 g/L, the removal efficiency of NH3-N, COD, TN, and TP increased with the increase in influent salinity. This indicates that the test bacteria used in the pilot-scale experiment have a high salt tolerance and can achieve stable operation throughout the production cycle. Compared to the method of microbial domestication, the use of mature salt-tolerant bacteria results in higher wastewater treatment efficiency. The experimental data from this study, based on pilot-scale research, can provide guidance for the treatment of actual pickled vegetable wastewater.
