Water Pollution in the River-Groundwater System Based on the Adsorption Model of Linear and Langmuir

Groundwater pollution is a widespread problem, and the hazards and environmental impacts are very serious. Among them, organic pollutants are one of the most difficult to treat, so the behavioral characteristics of organic pollutants in river-groundwater systems are important research significance. Biodegradation and natural transformation are important degradation pathways for organic pollutants in groundwater. Biodegradation refers to converting organic pollutants into harmless substances by microorganisms. At the same time, the natural transformation includes oxidation, reduction, hydroxylation, and dechlorination reactions, which can significantly affect the degradation rate and pathways of organic pollutants in groundwater. This paper focuses on the diffusion, adsorption, and degradation of organic pollutants in groundwater. Firstly, a Langmuir model, a hydrodynamic diffusion model, and a groundwater sorption model are established. Then, known data and parameters are analysed using the migration mechanism of organic pollutants. Finally, the degradation process of organic pollutants by biodegradation is studied, and the effect of biodegradation on organic transformation is analysed.
