Storage and Distribution Characteristics of Organic Carbon and Nitrogen in Sanggan River Wetland

The carbon and nitrogen cycle in wetlands is an important part of the global carbon and nitrogen cycle. The circulation mechanism of soil carbon and nitrogen is closely related to the circulation and transformation of material transfer between wetland and cultivated land. The spatial distribution of soil carbon and nitrogen directly reflects the content and distribution characteristics of wetland nutrients, and plays the most direct and important role in studying the productivity and ecological stability of wetland ecosystem. Therefore, it is important to study the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of soil carbon and nitrogen in wetland soil. This paper studied the distribution characteristics of soil total carbon (TC) and total nitrogen (TN) in Sanggan River Wetland Park, and estimated the soil carbon and nitrogen reserves in Sanggan River Wetland Park, providing further reference data for evaluating and protecting the stability of Sanggan River wetland ecosystem. (1) The variation range of TC content in the surface soil of Sanggan River wetland was 1.43–3.45 g/kg. In the vertical direction, the maximum TC content of wetland soil appeared in the 0–20 cm soil layer, and its content decreased with the increase of soil depth. (2) The variation range of TN content in the surface soil of Sanggan River wetland was 0.51–1.246 g/kg. (3) With the increase of soil depth, wetland soil carbon and nitrogen reserves gradually decreased.
