Leaching Kinetics of Reductive Leaching Manganese from Pyrolusite with Phenol
摘要
The leaching characteristics and kinetics of pyrolusite leached by phenol were studied in this paper, the effects of reaction time, sulfuric acid concentration, reaction temperature and phenol concentration on Mn extraction were investigated. The results show that under the suitable leaching conditions of 180 min, 3.0 M H2SO4, 50 °C and 1.0 g/L phenol, the leaching efficiency reaches 93.44%. The results of leaching kinetics show that the rate-controlling step is consistent with inert-layer diffusion control model shrinking core model, the activation energy was 22.63 kJ/mol, the reaction orders with respect to H2SO4 and phenol concentration was 2.186 and 1.433, respectively. Theoretical basis for resource utilization of phenol wastewater and low-grade pyrolusite could be provided by this study.
