Features of Space-time Differentiation of Urban Eco-Resilience and Influencing Factors: A Study on the Urban Agglomeration in the Middle of the Yangtze River

摘要

At present, China has entered a risk society, urban agglomerations are of great significance as an important force to support the high-quality development. Previous studies have illustrated that the study of urban eco-resilience is conducive to the establishment of a positive relationship between area economic development and urban eco-safety. In this paper, a resistance-adaptation-recovery framework was designed to evaluate the level of eco-resilience and study the space–time features of 31 cities within the urban agglomeration. The results indicated that: (1) In terms of time, the level of eco-resilience of the studied cities generally shows a fluctuating upward trend. (2) In terms of space, areas with high levels of urban ecological resilience are characterized by a “tripod” of provincial capitals (Wuhan, Changsha and Nanchang); the most extreme values are mainly concentrated in Hubei Province. (3) In terms of influencing factors, economic and technological factors play a positive driving role in urban eco-resilience, and population factors play an opposite blocking role.
