Study on Carbon Emission Accounting in the Power Industry Under the Concept of Pollution Reduction and Carbon Mitigation

This paper delves into the fundamental principles of pollution reduction and carbon mitigation, serving as the foundation for a comprehensive examination of carbon emissions within the power industry. By delineating the parameters that define the boundaries of carbon emissions, a robust carbon emission accounting system is developed specifically tailored to the power sector. The efficacy of this system is subsequently assessed through an in-depth evaluation of a representative power enterprise, facilitating a rigorous analysis of its carbon emissions. Based on the findings, valuable recommendations are proposed, encompassing strategies for pollution reduction and carbon mitigation.
