Simulation Calculation of Atomization Dust Removal Process for the Nozzle in the Iron Exchange Zone of the Converter
摘要
The use of appropriate dust suppressants for nozzle atomization dust removal technology is an important method for the treatment of unorganized emissions in the steel industry, which can effectively reduce dust diffusion in various processes of the steel production process. The dust concentration in the iron exchange area of the converter is high, and the high-temperature flue gas rises rapidly. During the atomization and dust removal process in this area, problems such as incomplete coverage area and supplementary atomization effect often occur. In this paper, taking the on-site layout of the iron mixing area of a steel enterprise as an example, the flow field in the process of spray atomization dust removal is simulated. Study the influence of different process parameters of atomizing nozzle on spray distance, coverage area, Degree distribution of atomized particles, etc. The final solution is to choose a porous nozzle with better coverage. The nozzle pressure is 0.5 MPa, ensuring that the effective spraying distance of the nozzle can reach over 8 m, meeting the on-site requirements. The layout of the dust removal nozzle for the converter iron exchange has been optimized and improved, improving the on-site dust removal effect.
