摘要

Implant therapy is currently the treatment of choice for the replacement of missing teeth. Correct implant positioning is of vital importance. The evolution of the available radiographic techniques, which readily provide 3D information and the advances in guided surgery techniques, both static and dynamic, have been developed. The practical stage of the procedure consists of constructing the surgical guide through which the implants will be placed in the selected positions. This is done based on the ideal position of the patient’s final teeth according to the radiographic study that was taken. Then the clinical stage of the technique follows, with the patient being operated on for the placement of the implants. The advantages in digital systems render the placement process fully predictable, fast and painless, without unnecessary incisions and unnecessary complications for our patient. This may be the biggest advantage of this technique.
