Nowadays, there is a growing interest in innovative HRM practices and their connection to technological advancementsTechnological advancement. Hence, this study presents a comprehensive analysis of innovation in the HRMHuman Resource Management (HRM) field using patentPatents data. The methodology involved extensive data collection, patent landscapePatent landscape analysis, and an exploration of the technical content of HRM patents. The analysis is based on a dataset of 2109 patent familiesPatent families related to HRMHuman Resource Management (HRM) using PatSeer databases. The findings shed light on the geographical distribution of HRM innovationHRM innovation, temporal trends, key players, technical diversity, core innovationInnovation themes, and technology intersections, and thus provided a foundation for understanding HRMHuman Resource Management (HRM) innovation from a patentPatents-driven perspective. While providing useful insights, it also emphasizes the need for more study to investigate the practical consequences, partnerships, and changing trends in the dynamic subject of HRM.
