The study of leadership spans across cultures, eras, and theoretical beliefs. This chapter focuses on leadership as a concept and leadership issues and challenges in hospitality management. The purpose is to provide an understanding and a critical review of the various implications for contemporary hospitality organisations and the future leadership skills and competencies development for successful hospitality managers.
