Thus, ESG issues have become a crucial element in risk management. This chapter delves into the fundamentals of risk management and introduces a practical four-step framework designed by PWC to guide ESG risk management in business practice. Furthermore, ESG processes are examined in alignment with the risk management standard ISO 31000:2018.
