Legal and Ethical Aspects of Electronic Commerce
摘要
This chapter discusses e-commerce and e-commerce law, where e-commerce is a way to conduct business online. It involves listing products for sale in a catalogue format on a website, and there are also legal issues to consider. E-commerce is different from traditional business in that the buyer and seller do not physically come together in the market place to perform the transaction, and they may even be in different countries with distinct laws. There may be a greater risk of fraud or loss with e-commerce than with traditional commerce.
