Sterilization and Injection Materials

Injection techniques are helpful for diagnosis and therapy in several musculoskeletal conditions. Care must be taken to use sterile techniques. This chapter reviews the mandatory steps on how to prepare injection materials and the site of injection to minimize related risks. The same techniques apply for any kind of injection in any joint.
