摘要

Tendon and bursal disorders of the elbow are very common. While many patients may improve with conservative modalities (ice, resting, anti-inflammatory medication, bracing, or physical therapy), some patients need injections to have complete resolution of symptoms. Most common disorders of the elbow include tendon-related conditions (lateral epicondylitis, medial epicondylitis, or distal biceps tendon) and bursal-related conditions (most commonly, olecranon bursitis). The purpose of the chapter is to review the existing literature regarding injection of different agents (mainly platelet-rich plasma, PRP, and corticosteroids) for some of the most common elbow disorders.
