  • Hamed Taherdoost

摘要

Intellectual property (IP) and the research and development (R&D) industry, which is focused on innovation, meet in a complex and dynamic way that raises many legal, ethical, and strategic questions. A range of legal rights known as “intellectual property” are meant to safeguard the products of human ingenuity and incentivize innovation by protecting the works of human intellect. Among them, copyright legislation stands out as a pillar for upholding and fostering originality, giving authors exclusive rights to their creative works across various R&D fields. This chapter explores the complex interactions between R&D, intellectual property, and copyright and offers a thorough grasp of copyright law’s foundations and applications in the field of R&D. It examines copyright ownership, protection, enforcement, and collaborative aspects while taking into account emerging trends.
