Periprocedural medication management is an important skill for interventional radiologists but often gets less attention than procedure skills. In this chapter, we will cover consensus guidelines for the management of commonly encountered medications in the preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural periods including antibiotics, anticoagulants, antiplatelets, analgesics, sedatives, and allergy medications.
