Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and causes significant morbidity and mortality. Management relies on a multidisciplinary approach centered on minimizing cerebral hypoperfusion time. Minimally invasive interventions play an integral part in this role by allowing for rapid restoration of blood flow for ischemic strokes.
