摘要

Visceral artery aneurysms (VAAs) can be divided into true aneurysms or pseudoaneurysms. Most commonly, these occur in the splenic artery although they can occur in nearly every visceral artery. Inflammatory processes as well as percutaneous interventions have led to an increase in the incidence of hepatic artery pseudoaneurysms. Interventional management including stent grafts, aneurysmal sac coiling, and proximal/distal embolization of the aneurysm has largely supplanted open surgical treatment for these aneurysms when technically feasible.
