Astrocyte Controlled SNN Dynamic Induced by Sensor Input

We examined a mathematical model with SNN and astrocyte networks to represent a 2D video image as a spatio-temporal spiking pattern. The SNN maintains excitation-inhibition balance with excitatory and inhibitory neurons. Astrocytes regulate synaptic transmission strength. Introducing excitatory pulses representing the image helped prevent hyperexcitation, and when properly adjusted, enhanced image representation in the SNN.
