Importance Measures for Optimisation of Cost Independent Maintenance Policies

The introduction of reliability importance measures is rooted their applications in the improvement of engineered systems. This chapter aims at investigating the applications of reliability importance measures in maintenance policy optimisation by considering various resource constrains including budget constraints and the size of the maintenance team.
