Russia and the World
摘要
As with almost all aspects of this book, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, from February 2022, overshadows and to some extent reshapes our understanding of contemporary Russia; in this case in relation to Russia’s place in the wider world. The war itself—in a situation of relatively static brutality at the time of writing, in mid-2024—has the potential to restructure the world order and its global security architecture away from the institutions and accompanying assumptions that have been in place for decades.
