Structural Damage Localization

In addition to the classical classification tasks, structural damage localization (following the usual detection task) plays a crucial role in vision-based SHMStructural health monitoring. As introduced in Chap.  2 , damage locations are represented by bounding boxesBounding box with coordinates and localization algorithms and models aim to conduct a regression task to accurately predict the coordinates, which closely match the ground truth.
