Hospital Supply Chain 4.0 Performance: A Systematic Literature Review

This analyse attempts to determine how the performance of the hospital supply chain (HSC) is impacted by artificial intelligence. All academics and professionals are interested in how the hospital supply chain affects the performance of the hospital. With this intention, we performed a systematic literature network analysis based on 315 articles from Scopus database, between 1974 and 2023, to understand the research trends, to identify gaps in the researcher’s findings and to further research the area of this subject using the artificial intelligence technologies. The findings of this study provided us with the most interesting KPIs for the purpose of making the hospital supply chain more effective, which are: physician work, patient length of stay, and patient waiting time.
