Rehabilitation of Cognitive Functions of the Elderly with the Use of Depth Sensors - The Preliminary Results

The target group of the project is elderly with cognitive impairment. The 3D Azure Kinect 3D vision sensor was used in the process of tracking and monitoring the patient’s movements during the proposed exercises. The created tool should mobilize seniors to perform defined exercises, and the use of artificial intelligence sensors for depth measurement allowed for effective assessment of patient movements. Gamification was used as an element deepening the patient’s involvement in the rehabilitation process.
