Metaverse and Creative Teaching of Reading Texts (Suggested Scenario)

The research aimed to present a proposed vision for using the metaverse in the creative teaching of reading texts by the Arabic language teacher. What is related to the metaverse was addressed in terms of the concept, nature, how to enter this world and previous studies of its use in the field of education. The research also addressed the concept of creative teaching and the skills and procedures it entails. The research also clarified the types of reading texts included in prose, poetic, and religious texts. The research presented a vision for using the metaverse environment to achieve creative and entertaining teaching, explaining the role of both the teacher and the student and how various teaching strategies can be used in the metaverse world by employing YouTube clips and virtual characters (avatars) in dealing with various reading texts so that various creativity skills can be developed. Cognitive and emotional by reviving the text in a virtual environment through which various characters related to the reading text can be summoned so that the teaching process becomes a comprehensive, creative process in its preparation, implementation, and evaluation with the help of artificial intelligence. The research also presented many important research recommendations and proposals.
