A Changing Electorate
摘要
In the next and final chapter we will draw the various threads of our analysis together and attempt to provide a summary that shows what factors explain the electoral success of Fratelli d’Italia, what this party has become after its first ten years of existence and in what directions it can plausibly be expected to evolve. First, however, we must ascertain who the voters are who have been responsible for this success. We will do this through an analysis of the parties they previously voted for, their territorial distribution, their social composition and their attitudes on politically divisive issues. Naturally, here too, we will highlight continuities and discontinuities with respect to previous Flame parties.
