摘要

The use of fossil fuels since its arrival is ceaseless, although its pernicious nature towards the living world is well-known. The Incessant climate crisis has enforced humankind to look for an alternative source of energy as a consequence of harmful carbon emissions. In the Next 30 years, the expected human population might increase up to 8 or even 10 billion thereupon without facing the demands of sustainable energy needs. Despite this, depending majorly on just fossil fuel, being a non-renewable source of energy is now a situation to be resolved. Biofuel act as a viable substitute for the reason that it is a renewable source of energy that provides energy security helps in the reduction of greenhouse gas emission and builds economic development. Innovative approaches such as Incorporating microbes will intensify biofuel production as they are efficiently accessible, and the enzymes within the microbes by their remarkable nature enhance the production. Therefore, this book chapter is written as an overview of microbe’s efficacy in biofuel production.
