SPH Modeling of Water-Soil Coupling Dynamic Problems
摘要
This study introduces an SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) model that utilizes mixture theory to address the complex interactions between soil and water dynamics. The model incorporates an intrinsic density formulation for the fluid phase and accurately accounts for the spatial and temporal variations in soil porosity. To discretize the fluid and solid phases independently, it employs two layers of SPH particles. This model successfully reproduces the results of three benchmark problems, illustrating the effectiveness of the proposed SPH model for simulating water-soil dynamics.
