摘要

Cryptosporidiosis, caused by Cryptosporidium parvum, is a severe parasitic disease affecting young ruminants and humans. It causes diarrhea, leading to high morbidity and mortality rates in calves, lambs, and goats. Transmission occurs through fecal-oral contact. Effective control requires strict hygiene practices, proper management, and vaccination of pregnant cows. Infected calves require supportive care, while treatment options are limited to halofuginone lactate and paromomycin.
