Role of Nurse Manager and Hospital Administration in the Management of COVID-19
摘要
Management of COVID-19 is largely the responsibility of nurse managers and hospital administrators. They are in charge of making decisions, putting them into action, managing resources, and helping employees. The nurse manager is the leader of the nursing staff at the bedside. It is their job to supply nurses with the tools they need to treat COVID-19 patients safely and effectively. It is the responsibility of nurse managers to ensure that their staff is well-versed in the most recent COVID-19 protocols and guidelines. Administrators in hospitals are in charge of the institution as a whole. They must make sure the hospital is ready to handle an influx of patients, develop and implement a response plan for COVID-19, and allocate the necessary resources. To coordinate the response to the pandemic, hospital administrators collaborate with state and local health authorities.
