The Flügge and Donnell theories for thin cylindrical shellsShells, cylindricalnatural frequency are used to obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes for clamped, hinged, and cantileverShells, cylindricalcantilever shells. The effects of fluid loading are examined by considering the acoustic radiation of a shell in an infinite fluid and a shell conveying a fluid.
