Design of a Solar Photovoltaic Led System for Outdoor Illumination

摘要

This article describes the design and development process of a solar photovoltaic LED illumination system for a company with autonomous outdoor lamps to reduce the consumption of conventional electrical energy and improve energy efficiency. Investigation methods such as information gathering, experimentation, inductive deductive analysis, and the scientific method were applied to evaluate the impact of solar photovoltaic LED technology on energy quality. Results show a 22.9 Lx luminous intensity achieved by the system and a 0.38% light uniformity, surpassing the standards established by Ecuador’s regulations. Using and implementing more efficient and sustainable illumination technologies is an optimal option to reduce energy consumption costs and the environmental impact.
