The Role of Transportation Vehicle, Transportation Infrastructure, and Resistance to Change in Public Transport Towards Climate Change
摘要
Indonesia has the 4th largest population in the world and uses motor vehicles as their main source of transportation. The transportation sector alone accounts for about 19.2% of carbon emissions and has the potential to reduce emissions by 4%. The purpose of this study is to analyse the adoption of environmentally friendly transport vehicles, sustainable transport infrastructure, and resistance to change in public transport systems, with a focus on climate change impacts. The text discusses the increasingly pressing issue of climate change, with a particular focus on the role of the transportation sector. Based on the review of past literature it was found that collective efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate change within the transportation sector are important steps towards a healthier and more sustainable environment.
